Say 'NO' to healthcare privatization |

Today, simultaneous protest were held at 4 public hospitals nationwide namely, Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah Alor Setar, Kedah, Hospital Sg. Buloh, Hospital Serdang, Selangor and Hospital Sultan Ismail Pandan, Johor to oppose the implementation of government's full-paying patient (FPP) scheme.
The FPP scheme burdens the poor because they will be neglected as the doctors will attend the private patients who are afford to pay more. FPP scheme pilot project in Hospital Selayang has proven detrimental to both doctors and patients. |
