10/12/2008 ; 9.30 am Sungai Siput : Polis Kuala Kangsar Menganggu Konvoi Basikal JERIT
Pagi ini, permulaan kempen basikal kita di Sg Siput bermula dengan kunjungan tidak dipelawa oleh lebih 30 polis Sg Siput dengan lebih 15 kenderaan polis.
Pegawai polis menyatakan mereka akan mematuhi apa jua undang-undang yang ada dan pihak penganjur harus memberi kerjasama termasuk memberi pengenalan diri.

SOUTHERN TEAM MOVING OUT FROM IPD SEGAMAT: VAN , PAJERO, LORRY RELEASED |

3.30PM SEGAMAT Finally after more than 3 hours, the Pajero, Van and Lorry of the southern JERIT team was released. This was done after taking statements from the drivers of the vehicles. One of them , Cheng ( driver of the van) was released on police bail as the leaflet is being investigated as there is no proper "information " on the publisher. |

The Cyclists have been released and are in the bus now. The 4coordinators, Sungai Siput MP and the bus driver is still being held in Kuala Kangsar police station and no update on their status Helen who was punched and assaulted has made a police report Lee Huat Seng's camera was confisticated and in the process the police hurt him in the arm , now bleeding. Taiping : The 2 DEMA Members still under arrest Segamat : Lorry, van and pajero still not released. |

The police have arrested 4 JERIT coordinators, Ranee, Sugumaran, Karthi, Jothi , the bus driver plus bus full of participants detained. YB Dr Jeyakumar, Sungai Siput MP also arrested Helen( another JERIT coordinator) - was sexually assaulted, breasts grabbed and punched on the face .
